Lubuntu 16.10 is not using LXQt desktop

Sadly, the switch from LXDE to LXQt desktop is not happening on lubuntu 16.10 as predicted before, The switch to LXQt as default desktop environment has been postponed until lubuntu 17.04.

Obviously there's a problem with LXQt desktop, but i'm not sure what it is, probably wasn't stable yet, that's why the implementation of LXQt is delayed for the next version.

So yeah, the lubuntu 16.10, code name 'yakkety yak' is still using the same LXDE desktop environment as the previous lubuntu. Lubuntu 16.10 is gonna be pretty much the same as 16.04.

The question is should we upgrade to lubuntu 16.10? well, if you have lubuntu 16.04 which is the LTS version, i don't think you should upgrade. Lubuntu 16.04 is supported until april 2019.
