Uget download manager for Lubuntu

Sometimes when you browse the internet and you find something interesting to download, you might want to use download manager to download the file, on lubuntu you can use uget download manager.

Uget is a download manager program that i use on my lubuntu 16.04 at home, it is available on lubuntu/ubuntu 16.04 repository, so to download it you can use apt-get command.

To install uget on lubuntu/ubuntu, simply open command line/ console/ terminal (press CTRL + ALT + T) and then run this command:

sudo apt-get install uget

Once installed you can find uget from the lubuntu start menu > Internet > Uget. It looks like this when the program running:

To use uget simply copy the url of the file that you want to download and then click on 'create new download' button, paste the url and then hit ok.

Like most download manager, uget allows you to pause, start and stop the download, although some of your downloads might be can't be pause, but if it can then uget can handle it.

There are many other download manager for lubuntu/ubuntu, but for now i just use uget for my daily activity because it's simple and easy to use.
